We at FBG have a moral duty to protect one another, our clients, and the environment. To do this, we strive to run a secure, injury-free, and healthy workplace, provide consistently safe food, and have as little of an environmental impact as possible. Our top priority is making sure that the food we serve is made to the highest standards with high-quality ingredients and products. At the very least, we will follow all applicable laws and recognized codes of practice. The FBG Safety Standards, Supply Chain Integrity Standards, and Allergen Management Policy spell out the minimum operating standards and rules that will be followed everywhere we do business. These are based on legal requirements and recommended practices in the industry. To ensure our clients and customers that we are supplying food that is safe to eat while meeting their quality expectations, we will routinely measure compliance against these standards and implement performance objectives. In particular, we will demand that: - Food is always prepared in hygienic conditions that do not expose it to the risk of contamination; - All employees are given the knowledge, training, and tools necessary to perform their work in a hygienic and compliant manner; - Employees comply with all company food safety policies and procedures; - We report and investigate incidents, then improve systems and practices aimed at preventing recurrence. To make sure that our employees are following our standards and being supervised by management, management teams will be responsible for not only supervising but also ensuring that performance complies with safety standards and looking for opportunities for ongoing improvement. From our suppliers and contractors, we will demand the same high standards. We will make sure the proper human and financial resources are committed to implementing this policy throughout all of our operations and disseminating it to all of our employees.
